Firefox still crashes in safe mode, and also crashes with plugins disabled. I do not have hardware accelerated & I always use Malwarebytes.

Firefox will open & load my home page as google, but as soon as I click on a search result or go to a website it crashes. It will crash if I try to reload a tab. It will crash trying to restart from the Crash Reporter. I have to Quit Firefox & reopen to my home page.

Hi,

I think that in this case is better to wait for a bug correction in a future release of firefox. However, in the mean time you can create new profile and check if the problem is still present https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles.

Bye

It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or even add / mal-ware. Look thru your add-ons list and make sure you know what each one is and what it does. Also, check the programs that are on your computer

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder Linux: options depends on the package manager and the desktop environment

Go thru the list. If you find something that you don't know what it is, use a web search.

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Is there still a problem?

It still crashed after creating a new profile. There was nothing unusual in add-ons or on my computer programs. It also crashed in safe mode with networking.

I did everything you said & it is now finally not crashing. It is running slower (and can hang with multiple tabs open) than it did before the update, but it's at least not crashing!

Well, that's something. Did you get any error or alert messages from what you did?
