Firefox is asking me to update to v5 but are saying this version is not compatible with Google. Has this problem been resolved yet?

I updated my browser to v5 and was told that it would not be compatible with Google at this time. I was not able to log onto Google nor bring up the Google toolbar and related search ability.

I have therefore switched back to v4.01 and I now can use Google. Is this new version 5 now compatible with Google or will it ever be??

Thanks Bill

The Google Toolbar 7.1.20110512W version works in Firefox 5.0 by using the Compatibility Reporter extension, I tried it myself due to the large number of postings about the GTB this morning.

Thanks for the reply. I was able to re-install v4.01 and right at the moment everything is working fine. Got my Google tool bar back. I am going to hold off on the Compatibility Reporter extension for the time being. I understand Google is eventually going to update their site so that the Toolbar will be compatible with V5.

Thanks again.
