i set up a new email account on an existing thunderbird, using the same IP as the existing email account. i can not sent emails [it will receive] the message i get is:

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: DENIED This email address has been suspended. Please remove from your address book or list.

Please check the message recipient "[email protected]" and try again

i have removed all the addresses from the address book to no effect.

i have also set up a new thunderbird on a new laptop and the same email account gets the same message when sending emails

To me it looks like the recipients email address has been suspended. You should check with the recipient about the status of his or her email account.

That was my idea, too. I sent a test mail to [email protected] and I got no error message Some voodoo? Or a different reason?
