I have several folders in Inbox. Last time (for about month) Thunderbird asked to compact folders. Last week I've deleted unuseful messages in folders and applied 'compact' on Inbox folder (root). Today I've discovered that one of folders inside Inbox disappeared. However when I look at mail storage on local disk I still see msf file with name of lost folder in Inbox.sbd folder. I've also have installed Lighning and updating Thunderbird last week beside compacting folders. Can I restore folder in Inbox?

There is no file with same name but with void extension in folder on disk, but I found it in recycling bin. Based on date of removal it was deleted same time as filterlog.html.

then restore it to say your desktop. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools/ Install the import export add-on and use it to import the file back into Thunderbird.

The one thing you need to know is that the file is in the MBOX format. So that is the menu entries to use.
