I've tried the shift and del thing, that doesn't work. I have no viruses or malware on my laptop. Everytime I pull down the arrow for the address bar there are sites that I have previously looked at (some of which are bookmarks) in the address bar, I always clear my history and cache and cookies but they still show up in the address bar. I've tried deleting the bookmarks but it doesn't solve the problem and the sites still show up. They're not sites I'm embarrassed about people seeing but it's just frustrating when for years I've not had any problems with sites being saved in address bar as it's never happened before. I've update firefox numerous times, I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and I've even reset it a bunch of times but nothing at all seems to work at deleting the websites from the address bar. If anyone can help me that would be great.
