how do I eliminate websites displayed in the box on my home page?
There's a rectangular box on the home page below the search box. It has three websites displayed in it . It could be as a result of my visiting certain websites, not sure. I'd like to empty that box. What is the procedure for doing that?

How about giving us some specific information so we can try to help you? You haven't even verified what "home page" you are talking about, the default about:home page or another web page that you set as your homepage.

Please provide a screenshot of that, as it doesn't sound like something which could be part of the default about:home homepage.
I don't know what you're talking about.........screenshot.......what is that?!?! Why don't you just go to the home page & imagine 3 websites displayed in that box??????
I don't know what you're talking about without seeing a picture. The default Firefox 4+ homepage of about:home doesn't display 3 "websites" in the box below the searchcontainer, unless someone has hacked your local storage - that's why I was asking to see a screenshot.
So please instruct me in just how to do what you call a screenshot, cause I've never heard of it.
1 Did you read the support article that I hyperlinked in my first response?

What is your home page as listed in the location bar?
My bad......I'll look into that & get back.
Believe it or not, I no longer have those particular sites displayed. I'm not concerned about what replaced them. For whatever you did, I thank you. I apologize for any rudeness.
WAIT A MINUTE NOW.....I DIDN'T WANT [email protected], (yuk!)
