SIte-level Zoom stopped working in Firefox 111

I am running Firefox 111.0.1 on macOS 13.2.1. After upgrading to 111, Firefox's ability to remember per-site zoom settings seems to have disappeared. Based on my perusal of some previous issues with Firefox zoom levels, I tried changing the `browser.display.os-zoom-behavior` setting in `about:config` from `1` to `0`, but this has no effect. Is there some way to restore per-site zoom level retention? That was a really nice feature that I relied on quite a bit.

Curiously, Firefox 111.0 on Manjaro Linux does not exhibit this behavior. Perhaps its an issue with the 111.0.1 patch version?

Do you have enabled "Resist Fingerprinting" if you check this pref on the about:config page?

I do have that enabled. Does that prevent site-level zoom saving?

  • Any Site-Specific Zoom settings are not applied

Interesting, I suppose that answers it. I wonder why Firefox can't just report a zoom level of 100% to the page regardless of what the actual zoom level is?
