How do I STOP Firefox from asking me to update?

Every time I update Firefox I lose my add-ons, and the last time I updated it, I learned I could no longer restrict it to running only one instance in task manager. Now it's a horrible memory hog and keeps crashing.

I am NOT going to update it again, and I want it to stop harassing me to update every time I turn it on. Firefox has gotten just as pushy and invasive as Microsoft, and if I can't change that then there's no point in me using it at all.

So, how do I PERMANENTLY STOP Firefox from asking me to update?

Please don't tell me about the risks or why I shouldn't do this. I don't care.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I see that you have both Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin installed. ABP is known to use quite some memory at times, so maybe consider to only use Adblock Plus.

You can check the Firefox Task Manager (about:performance) and about:memory pages.
