Is there a working addon for flag emojis ? I downloaded the emoji-everywhere and the Unicode Emoji but no flags. Whenever I find emojis online I copy and when I try to paste it only gives me letters, USA, GER, etc...

Hi, I believe all of these are in the below : https://emojipedia.org/flags/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thanks for your help. I tried both of these but when I try and use them, it types the letters instead of the actual emoji

HI, on the 2nd URL is Support for the Extension and possible more help as that is the Developers responsibility. Possibly contact them and let them know the Flags are not working as the may not know.

You can have a go at some of these : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=+flag+emojis

Every single one of these does the same thing, it puts the initials instead of the flag. Thanks anyway.

In Firefox 61 I have the TwemojiMozilla.ttf file in the Fonts folder in the Firefox installation folder that is used to show the flags if I check this in the Inspector.

You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the builtin Inspector with this element selected.

The TwemojiMozilla.ttf file is not present in the fonts folder. There are 5 other fonts available. How do I add the TwemojiMozilla.ttf to the mix ? Thank you all for your help !!

The default emofi font when not specified by the website is set via this pref on the about:config page. For Windows this should be in Firefox 61:

  • font.name-list.emoji = "Segoe UI Emoji, Twemoji Mozilla"

If there is a problem with either of these fonts then emoji icons might not work.

You can try to reinstall Firefox to see if that fixes the missing Twemoji font.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (61.0.1) in all languages and all operating systems here:
