Thunderbird has just updated itself to version 60.0 (beta version). Google calendar and address book synchronization both stopped working. I have found a new "Provider for Google calendar" (version 4.1b) that is now working again, but cannot find a new "Address book synchronization" extension that will work with Thunderbird 60.0. The version that was in use was 7.3.3.54 - last updated in Dec 2010. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance - Ian Arnold

Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor; double-click a preference to toggle its value.
