Firefox keep crashing on startup, also in safe mode. I've already did an uninstall, removed the folders in "c:\program files (x86)", "%appdata%\mozilla" and reinstall, but it didn't solve the crashes.

Chosen solution

Disabling Trend Micro didn't solve the issue. I've installed the 64bit version and that version is working without any problem.

The bug report shows a problem with Avast. Are you using it? As a test, disable your protection programs.

We are using the latest ESR version, but I had the same issue with the regular Firefox 58.0.2.

And your protection programs?

We use TrendMicro, but we don't have this issue on all devices so I don't think the anti-virus is causing this error.

As a test, disable one, start Firefox. If the problem continues, disable the other.
