I've tried everything but firefox hangs constantly, even in safe mode, since the update. Can you remote access my computer and see whats going on?

No matter what I do FF hangs even in safe mode. It started on both my laptop and desktop as soon as I updated to ver 57.0 (64 bit ). Also the memory usage goes up just sitting there doing nothing in FF. Earlier I walked away from my desktop for about 2 hours and when I returned the task manager showed that FF was running first as an app and 5 processes using a total of about 7 gb of memory. Whats going on. This is a problem with ver 57.0 because it is happening the same on 2 different computers that share no link and were fine before the update. Running windows 10 Home ver 1703 build 15063.726. HELP!!!!!!

BTW took 45 min to write this because of the hangs.

hi, thanks for reporting this. could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information page and take a look in the Accessibility section if accessibility is set to "true" there.

if yes, can you please copy & paste this whole section into a reply in the forum and see if the following fixes the performance problem: go to the firefox menu ≡ > options > privacy & security panel and under permissions check the setting to prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser.
