Firefox downloads not working
The date is May 12, 2016. With any browser If I go to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=paidsearch&utm_campaign=sitelink&utm_term=download%20mozilla%20firefox&gclid=Cj0KEQjw9tW5BRDk29KDnqWu4fMBEiQAKj7sp1XgftXYaI5heLfllCjLoyfYaSgRwHtVhzoallz4LfYaAnml8P8HAQ&f=78 and click the button to download Firefox, I will get "404 page not found" at https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-stub-f78&os=win&lang=en-US.
I have downloaded the current Firefox 43.0.1 from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/.

The download at the first link works if it is https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
Since you are using Windows Vista to post with you would get 43.0.1 to then update to 46.0.1 with. Or you can download 46.0.1 as per link in above reply.

btw the date is current May 13 or 14 depending on your timezone.

The link https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ still doesn't work for me. When I click to download I am redirected to the page with the error.
I have Firefox and am only posting this to report this error so that others can download Firefox.
The link works, why it does not for you?
Normally people download Firefox at say www.mozilla.org (green button) or at the Systems & Languages link www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
However as you have Windows Vista you will get served 43.0.1 so you would need to use a direct link like above reply.

Why do you use that very long link you posted above with &f=78 appended?
That specific link give the not working download link.
So for some reason the "&f=78" gets added to the download link. I see this in Linux:
If you would use the bare link then the download button should work.
Do you know who can't fix this problem, is someone working on that green button. I was able to download from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/.
Cor-el, I don't know why I used that long link that gaveme a non-working download link, as does from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/?f=78
The "f=78" part of the link is definitely causing the problem as it gets part of the Firefox installer link and the download server doesn't know about this special Firefox version. I assume that it is meant for special cases.
I wonder if the "f=78" refers to the 46.0.1-funnelcake78 on https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ and since there are no 43.0.1 funnelcake builds?
