I am experiencing problems on Ancestry.co.uk and they believe my problem is due to Firefox. Any ideas please?
I have used Firefox for many years and have subscribed to Ancestry.co.uk since 2008 without any problems. In January 2016 several problems suddenly appeared. The main issue is that I can check and VIEW hints from all sources. If they do not apply I can successfully IGNORE them but the problem arises if I select SAVE TO YOUR TREE. I see a 'Connecting ....' message but the connection is not made no matter how long I wait. I have contacted Ancestry several times and they have checked that they are able to save hints to my tree. They suggested clearing my cache and cookies but this did not work. They are convinced the problem is with my browser, Firefox.44 but I cannot solve the problems. I work on an ASUS laptop using Windows 10. When the problem first began a system restore solved it but only until I switched off. I tried this again and once more it worked only until I again switched off.
Any suggestions would be very gratefully received.

I understand that after a system restore that Firefox can then establish a connection to the Ancestry website. I am happy to help.
