Hi,

Using facebook with firefox on Windows 10 is almost unuseable for me.

As soon as I start scrolling down, I get a black page with a thick white bar at the top - all the menu disappears, and have to randomly click or force close the browser to get out of it. I've had this happen on a couple of other sites, but Facebook is the main one.

This ONLY happens with firefox. Chrome, Edge etc on Windows 10 are all fine. - what is happening??

Definitely a graphics issue, however can you test this please:

  • What happens in Safe Mode? This disabled hardware acceleration and customization only to tell if its a customize issue, hardware acceleration or addon issue: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
  • What are the drivers in Webgl? This is listed in the about:support troubleshooting information, please copy and paste this here.

It appears this was an issue with the graphics driver as no longer happens once switching to a different card (now nVidia).
