I used to live in the central time zone and have moved to the mountain time zone. I have changed my time zone to MST within the lightning app and display time zones on my events (it shows the correct time zone). However, whenever I create an event, it displays the wrong time as if it is reverting to CST. For example, today I created a future event for 4:30PM MST. When it writes to my calendar it says 5:30PM, but when I open up the individual event it says 4:30PM and displays as MST. This obviously is creating problems with me not showing up for stuff on time. Help!

More background info: I am using google calendars. My time zone in google calendars is correct. My system time zone is correct.

Yes I had changed it there but thank you for the suggestion.

Update: I uninstalled all thunderbird add-ons. re-installed, and restarted my machine and that worked :) Wish I had thought to try that in the first place!

There is a timezone setting in the Calendar Options also. Have you changed that?

From the Menu Bar select Tools-Options-Calendar-Timezone

No menu bar showing? Press the alt key.
