Which part is out of date?

You can access the Reset button using either

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
  • (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
  • type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
  • exit Firefox completely, then hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox

Prior to Firefox 29, there was an orange "Firefox" menu button in the upper left corner instead of a "3-bar" application button.

By the way, Waterfox may have a modified UI compared with Firefox.

Also, why version 24.0? I think you are missing a LOT of security updates.

I actually have assumed that it was not accepting updates, which is why i tried to un and re-install, it just decided to save the old settings. I have un-installed and re-installed but it seems to save the settings, along with all the problems it has, for when it is re-installed. Version 24 appears to be all i am allowed. I had actually thought that waterfox used the same interface as firefox i will look for a guide to waterfox

Could the poster not be using 24esr?

Hi qwertuiiuyhfgjughjnfvghnmmnbn, it might have the same UI or it might have a modified UI, I was just raising the possibility because some variations on the Firefox code base do have a modified UI.

Hi finitarry, I don't think Waterfox uses the ESR code base. (It's identified as Waterfox in the useragent string.)

The question details listed Firefox 24.0. I thought that the OP was using Firefox.
