firefox and viewing vids are not compatible
yikes. i had an issue with firfox 13.01 and all of my video sites and being able to download. the problem was solved by deleting the most recent flash player and going back to 10.3 ( not sure of the exact one..but it was recommended by this site)
all was well until today when a house guest using my computer got a message to upgrade to the lasted version of adobe flash. and yes it all happened again. no ability to view NEW vids at you tube etc.
so i deleted the newest flash and TRIED to go back to the old version..but adobe now has a pop up advising that 10.3 is not the latest version and no matter where i went or what i did i could not get flash 10.3 back again!
so what do i do now?

hello, here are the links for flash 10.3: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/889580
i have tried that link... it will not work! trust me.. when you get it all downloaded and try to install you now get a message from adobe telling you that is an outdated of flash version and directs you to the new oneand thats all that happens. so 10.3 is no longer available.
sure wish all these folks got together and worked out their stuff before they updated and left us n the lurch
yes a week ago it did work. it does not now.
thanks for the input.
any other ideas out there?
steve
you'll have to uninstall the never version present on your system from the windows control panel/programs section first before you can install flash 10.3
yes of course i did that with revo uninstaller...
This link might give you the full download initially, rather than just the small downloader: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp10.3
I'm not sure exactly which of those you need, however.
those are the debugger versions, primary tailored at developers...
maybe you'll have to use the uninstaller provided by adobe to totally get rid of flash before downgrading - http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
the point remains adobe will not me downgrad....
Try doing a system restore to a date where the system was working. That should give you a working flash player. Then uninstall automatic updates in flash.. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/929309 for how to do it and more help on this problem.
