How do I change the downloads window to view the saved download information?
After finishing a download, I would still like to see and open the downloaded file from the Downloads screen. My Downloads screen automatically clears after the download is finished.

Tools / Options / General / Download
and check the box to show the download window.
The check box is checked to show the Downloads window when downloading a file. However, once the is completed, the download screen where the file name was goes blank (window is still open).
Tools>Options>Privacy, check "Remember download history" if you want to keep download history.
Tools>Options>Privacy>"Clear history when Firefox closes">Settings, un-check "Download history" if you want to keep download history.
