Cut and paste

Just in past couple days I can no longer cut and paste text. My guess is that this is because of an Office update yesterday. When I try to cut, a small window pops up that is meaningless. It asks for "key" and then won't let me specify a number. When I try to paste, same sort of issue . . . up pops the box and asks for the key.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Hi Eric, could you describe this in a little more detail. Is this when you are using office.com in Firefox, for example, editing a Word document, and you use Ctrl+X or Ctrl+V? Are other sites affected?

You're magic. I tried to cut and paste several time this morning in both Word and Firefox. Same result. A small tool pops up and asks me for a number key for the area to be clipped and then nothing good happens. Can't enter a number and I can't get the clip to show when I then try to paste it.

So I asked. You replied. And now I can't duplicate the problem in either Firefox or Word to show you. Presto and Abracadabra!!

Thanks.
