I can't get my email - on Tbird using FF but I can get it from the ISP using EDGE (yuck)
I have an old AT&T address even though I no longer have their phone/internet service. However we were told we could keep those addresses (my husband's email is working fine) as long as we used them regularly. Saturday early AM I could no longer retrieve my email for that account on Thunderbird OR by going to AT&T via FireFox. HOWEVER, I CAN get my email from AT&T (Asian T&T when you need help) using MS EDGE (Yuck).
The error message I receive on both AT&T via FF and on TB is:
"Error with account ________________
Sending of password for user [email protected] did not succeed. Mail server inbound.att.net responded: Server error - Please try again later."
I have changed my password and I've followed the directions under: DID YOUR ABILITY TO RECEIVE MAIL SUDDENLY STOP? WAS IT WORKING BEFORE? and that did not help.
ANY IDEAS?
Thanks, TwoTreeForest
Note; use of caps is because of no other way of indicating emphasis and bold titling on FF. Also, I have created a new Mozilla account using a spare email address temporarily for this problem!

I guess you probably need a secure mail key https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/email-support/KM1240462

This happened suddenly after flawless performance. I have email addresses with 2 different ISP's. My alternate one was OK, and now email is come into both but I cannot send email from either - both are in TB. I don't want to spend a lot of time with the URL you sent if you're not sure that it might solve a sudden problem - I've used FF and TB for years. Please remember, both email ISP's are working in Edge and not in FF - and I admit I'm a bit of a cyberdummy, but I've already spend a whole lot of time on this issue. Thank you.
