We have 2 computers in our office with the same main email address. We both are suppose to get the same emails on both computers. It doesn't always happen like that. I was looking for an email from someone the other day and it didn't show up on my computer but it showed up on the other office computer. Just curious if someone could help me figure out why some would come to both and some won't Thanks

Are both your computers set to use IMAP protocol. Look at your account settings in Thunderbird and see.

Sorry I have located where this is and ours is POP

The normal operation for POP is to download the messages and remove them from the server. When the next computer checks the server there are no messages or only the new ones since the other computer cleared the server. You can set the option to Leave Messages on the server but then you will need to manage the messages on the server so you do not exceed any limits that your provider sets on storage. IMAP was developed for people that check email from multiple!e devices. It is server based and you view messages remotely on your devices. If you delete a message at the server or on any device it is gone everywhere.

Here is how to add your accounts to Thunderbird as IMAP if that is what you elect to do. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/switch-pop-imap-account
