As in the subject above. Can anyone get this website to load. Works in Chrome, IE, but not in FF Page initially loads, but any further navigation returns the subject error. http://couples.com/mb/forum.php?styleid=14 Cookies, cache, history etc. all cleared to no avail. Don't have issues with any other websites on FF. Thanks

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove the cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Clear the cache":

  • Firefox/Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> Network -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems.

  • Firefox/Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Hi Alsmith624

Can you post the not working link to see if we can replicate this problem?

Are you using an extension that can block cookies or are you blocking cookies by default and use allow exceptions for specific domains?

Note that such issues also can happen if you use a bookmark with a HTTP link that redirects o an HTTPS website.

If you use a bookmark then navigate to the web page starting with the main page or the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.

Not blocking any cookies at all,

www.basspro.com

with or without bookmark

Main page is blocked, I can get to the site using https://www.basspro.com/Fishing/_/T-12100000000

but if I click on the home link, I get the Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I have deleted cookies/cashe several times, deleted and reloaded Firefox.

Restarted computer several times, been going on for days.

Al the setting are the same as my laptop, laptop works.

No problems here with http://www.basspro.com/.

You can use the Live Http Headers extension to check in what way the website is redirecting.

Note that some websites use a special service to protect against misuse. If you have an IP that has been blacklisted for some reason then the server might block you.

You can try to test this via Google Translate with a random source language

You can check the connection settings.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

Nothing is correcting this problem.

This is a ongoing issue, no one seems to care or has any clue on it's correction.

This is a clear FIREFOX ONLY PROBLEM. And it is unacceptable.

With my years of support and praise.

Firefox will come to a end for me.

This is a aggravating unacceptable problem.

I have FF 57.0 Yahoo! home page Get this error message no matter what search engine I select in the search bar!!! Going to "Options," I have "Accept Third Party Cookies" selected. If I use Yahoo's search bar, everything works fine. As far as the possible cures stated above, it is a foreign language to a senior citizen who does not spend his life in front of a computer! Is there a FF For Dummies?
