i Had a Firefox Weave Account From Back in 2012, and now, i cannot access it. ¿ Where did it go, please.  ?

i Still have the eMail Address associated with my Weave Account, and i Registered with Weave in 2012.

Now, FF Sync says that i Do Not Exist.

All i get is this error "Unknown account. Sign up" at about:accounts?action=signin&entrypoint=preferences

¿ Where did my Weave Account and Data please.  ?

hi, the old sync service that you are referring to was shut down last year: https://blog.mozilla.org/services/2015/07/31/shutting-down-the-legacy-sync-service/

¿ So, just to be Clear, ALL my Bookmarks, Data, History, Passwords, etc., from my Old Weave Account is gone because the Data Encryption was too strong to be Migrated.  ? No Challenge. i Was just hoping to collect some old bookmarks. Thank you. ~€;-)

Sorry, but Weave / Sync wasn't intended for long term storage of data, as with a 'cloud' service. There was a 'window' from April 29, 2014 when Firefox 29 was released until that Sync 1.1 server was shut down on September 30th 2015 where users could upgrade their Sync 1.1 account to the current Sync 1.5 account while using a compatible Firefox version - Firefox 29 and newer. Old data would have been transferred to the 'new' Sync 1.5 servers during the account user upgrade procedure, for those who were using Sync with the Firefox 29 and later versions. The old 1.1 version accounts stayed on the older Sync 1.1 servers if the user never did the upgrade to Sync 1.5 with a Firefox 29+ version until the servers was shutdown.

It's been called Sync since Firefox 4.0 was released on March 22, 2011 when it became a standard feature in Firefox. Weave was the code-name when the project was started and 'Weave' for the extension that was used as it was being developed during the 'run' of Firefox 3.5 and then 3.6 versions; the version number for Weave was 1.0. The "weave" name still remains within internal Firefox files and preferences, but externally it has been known as Sync for almost 5 years now.
