will not play youtube videos
Firefox for several days was lagging before opening a Youtube video and as of now, won't open them at all. "An error occurred. Please try again later." message
Chrome works just fine, so it's not my PC. FF 43.0.4
Is there actual fix for this, not just trying to patch Flash or something else?

Actually, YouTube no longer uses Adobe Flash Player for video playback, as they have switched to HTML5 technology. Therefore, this issue wouldn't be caused by Adobe Flash Player.
First, please ensure that your HTML5 video is working correctly on Firefox. To do this, you can navigate to YouTube's HTML5 Information Page and see which video formats will play on your browser. All six video formats should be checked. If they are not, let us know which ones are not.
Secondly, you can try Firefox in safe mode. Safe mode temporarily disables your addons, reverts some settings and disables hardware acceleration. This will help to ensure that there is no conflict caused by a setting or addon on your browser.

Go figure. YouTube works just fine today, must have gotten scared of my intentions to mend it. Hopefully stays that way. Thank you for your help. Out of curiosity then, how come neither other browser I have on PC had issue with YouTube yesterday?
In the case of Google Chrome, it is probably because it features a lot of internal components. Chrome has many Google products integrated into it and certain plugins (like Flash Player) are built in to the browser, whereas Firefox uses the plugins that you have installed on your operating system.
