I'm using Mac OSX 10.7.5., and I can easily access the folder on my current drive holding the option key (so that the hidden Library appears) I then get bookmarks from otherwise hidden folders (since this is my new startup drive)

BUT

I need to copy/ move my LATEST bookmarks from about ten days ago, from a dying hard drive. The drive is useable, just not boot-able.

BUT

Since this amazing new "hold option on GO in the Finder menu to see the invisible library feature" (sarcasm) requires your operating system to be booted, I cannot access the bookmark folder in the Library. How can I do this if Finder is not booted on the dying drive? Is this making any sense?

We are talking about Firefox, yes?

To open the Bookmarks Manager, press the Alt or F10 key bring up the tool bar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac:<Command>) <Shift> B.

Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file. Copy the file to another computer. Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML,

They hid Library in 10.7.5., which means that if the bookmarks are in that folder (they are) and I cannot hold the option key (since there is not a finder window booted on that drive) to access the hidden bookmarks, then there must be a different way to see them.
