It used to be that when I opened a new tab, it would just have a blank page. Now, after installing a plugin that didn't work, it automatically goes to Yahoo's search engine website, which I never use. If any of you could help me get it back to just showing a blank page when I open a new tab, that would be great! Thanks!

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
