When I go to bookmarks and then click on "Organize Bookmarks", I go to "Sort" and then select a particular setting like "Sort by Name." From the bookmark menu, I select a specific folder. Then I go to the left top middle icon with 4 horizontal lines, click on it and press "Sort by Name' and see all the folder name go into alphabetical order. However, when I close bookmarks it reverts to the "Unsorted" mode.

The Views menu in the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) is for displaying the bookmarks in different sorting orders (hence the name Views) and doesn't sort bookmarks permanently.

Make sure that you choose "Views > Sort > Unsorted" in the Bookmarks Manager if you want to sort bookmarks via the right click context menu (Sort By Name).

The option to sort bookmarks is only available for folders and not for individual bookmarks.
Right-click a folder to open the context menu and choose "Sort By Name" in the left pane of the Bookmarks Manager or in the side bar to sort the bookmarks alphabetically or drag bookmarks to the wanted position. If dragging doesn't work then use Cut and Paste instead.
