When I run firefox I have 2 processes running. If I end the process with the smallest mem usage, it will start again in a few seconds. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it but it didn't fix the problem. I discovered this when I tried to do and update recently and the install program said it couldn't complete the update because firefox was already running.
