Hello, I have an issue with thunderbird desktop app on Windows 11. I want to add a signature written in HTML code. It works fine untill the app is closed. When I open the app again, signature settings are reset. Every other setting is saved and works perfectly fine, but everytime I close the app, the signature resets. I tried pasting html code into settings, I tried using a separate file with HTML code but both options are reset after closing. What can cause that isue?

This appears to be a file problem. When thunderbird closes, it updates the prefs.js file with that information. If the file is read-only or otherwise unavailable, the result is as you describe. this may be an antivirus or VPN or firewall interferring. You may also see multiple prefs files, such as prefs-1.js, etc. If unfamiliar with accessing profile, you can do this: - click help>troubleshootinginformation - scroll down to 'profile folder' on left side and click 'open folder' - you are now in profile. exit thunderbird - if there are multiple entries for prefs.js, rename the one with highest number to prefs.js after deleting the original. That may work.
