After an update - do not know if the update is from Thunderbird or from Microsoft, but I think it is the latter - I can not attach photos from my Library to a mail in Thunderbird - it says there is no e-mail program connected - but there is, certainly, there is (and I can send e-mails), and Thunderbird is set as default.

The funny thing is, that my old laptop (only for hollidays) - same Thunderbird - c a n do this.

The only difference is, that I have never had Outlook at this old laptap.

I have deleted Outlook as totally as I know, but it did not help.

Addendum - more detailed I can't send pictures or files as attachments from Library in the Thunderbird mail program anymore from my desktop PC - it's after an update. - apparently it's because I've had Outlook, everything seems to be because I haven't had Outlook on my old slow laptop (uses it extremely rarely), and here I can easily send anything via my e-mail. NB: With the same updated Thunderbird, and exactly the same settings.

I can send regular mail, but not attach a file, a bill, or a picture directly from my photos or other things.

Decided ( - unfortunately, but everything was tried - including downloading a new Thunderbird many times) …. to delete Outlook completely, but unfortunately that didn't help.

Thunderbird is the default program, now as the only one after deleting Outlook, but nothing helps, and the measures they write to try in Thunderbird do not help..

Here is a new print screen I have received over 100 times - spent 4-5 hours on it:

"There is no associated e-mail program that can perform the desired action. Install an email program, or create an association in the Default Programs control panel if one is already installed.”

But it's done And on my laptop, which has never had Outlook, it works 100% Same antivirus program – all the same – has been through it all, I think.
