I've never encountered this problem before... I am using a new computer but have used firefox exclusively for decades.

Every time i try to read a PDF, Firefox recognizes it as a .zip file, which it clearly isn't. I can't even choose acrobat reader as an option to open the files. If i manually go to the downloads tap and click on the file there, it immediately opens as a pdf in reader. What on earth is going on?
