The Language Addon is listed under the Language Addon list but can,´t been choosen to use the orthography function during writing emails. Does the language pack show in the addon manager as being installed? You post states you have two profiles and the pack is in one of them. My guess is it is not in the one you are using.

Sorry, there must be another mistake. Because I have checked the profile map of my used thunderbird installation. In the map "extensions" I find still the file "[email protected]", 584 KB. For a control I have also downloaded the file "[email protected]", which is even in the same map "extensions" of my profile map. But none of this extensions can be chosen, when I use Thunderbird and call up in the setup the language-correction after finishing an email.

The map in my thunderbird profile with all setup informations has the name "j7rtn88r.default-release-2" But there is another map in my map profile, named "l1vvbdax.default", and this contains not a map "extensions". I have also tryed to delete the language extensions and have them dowloaded agian, but the problems is existing still again. In my Firefox Browser is the language Add-on ok and adjustable. What can I do to solve the language Add-on problem? Best regards

An in the meanwhile the Software Version is Thunderbird 68.7.0 .....
