I am using Windows 10 and Firefox 57.0.4 Pages are very slow to load, and 'Prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser' option has been used, but with no difference. I can load pages on Chrome in less than 1 second, the same page on Firefox will take up to 6 seconds to load. It is as if I am working with dial-up or maybe DSL. It is sad, as I thought Firefox 57 was going to at least be comparable to Chrome in speed, but it isn't. Even Edge is better than Firefox in speed.

Sample page used to test loading: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal. My system has 12 GB RAM.

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.4 with a Full Version Installer

Do the Accessibility check after. Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thank you for the information. All the steps were followed in your post. Sadly, the test page loaded in 10 seconds with the new install of Firefox and 2 seconds in Chrome. Accessibility was checked in the new install of Firefox as well. Hopefully someday Firefox will be able to fix this.
