I JUST DOWNLOADED AND UPDATE, AND IT MAY ASSUME I'M USING A NEWER OPERATING SYSTEM THAN XP. I TRIED TO DOWN LOAD AND REINSTALL THUNDERBIRD, BUT IT WOULDN'T DO IT, RAN UNBELIEVABLY SLOW (TRIED ALL NIGHT AND NO DOWNLOAD). I THINK I MAY NEED TO DOWNLOAD AN OLDER VERSION TO RUN ON XP. WOULD THAT FIX IT?

i was able to open thunderbird, but i wasn't connected to the modem and couldn't send or receive emails. i closed and restarted normally but thunderbird still locked up everything and didn't open, same problem as before.
