My email has started showing the most recent received emails at the bottom of all emails, how do I get the most recent emails to show first?

The email started showing the new emails interspersed among old emails and then at the end of all old emails. How do I restore it to show new emails first? Also, how do I get rid of the scroll of emails at the top so after I read an email, it goes back to the inbox first?

Clicking any column header sorts on that column. Clicking that same header a second time reverses the sort. There will be a small pointer on the header used as the sort. Click DATE.

To get rid of all the tabs for the messages you have opened and not closed, right click one and select Close Other Tabs. Now start closing the tabs after you read a message.

Better yet, press F8 to turn on the Message Pane and read messages there instead of opening them in a tab.
