delay sart playing youtubevideos
Every time i start a youtube video there is a annoying delay till the tab shows a volume-symbol before the video actualy starts playing. Even when youtube autostarts the next video. What can i do to prevent this delay?

The delay could be the fault of the site. Does the page seem to load slowlly? Is the player the last thing to load? Any other troubles?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
To FredMcD: The YouTube window loaded normaly, no delay see picture 1. The YouTube window stays black, the duration of the video is shown, no indictation of loading (the circle in the middle of the video window is shown. After 20 à 30 sec the tab is blinking a few times, as is refreshing the Tab-info till the loadspeaker - symbol appears. Then the video starts playing, see picture 2. There is no other activity on that moment not even of the HDD.
YouTube is probably using the HTML5 media player and it can take a few seconds to buffer enough content to start the playing. You might be experiencing an issue like that. A Flash player usually shows a spinner, but I'm not sure if this player does. If a content blocker like ABP is active then that can contribute.

Indead when loading youtube clips is slow cause of a bad internetconnection, a spinner is shown, but not in this case. Wouldn't the pages with an ad-blocker load faster?
