I want to see all my emails separately - not "threaded" together by subject line. I don't have a clue as to why - after years of use - threading just started a few days ago??

This "fix" does not seem to resolve the issue. The view is now showing messages as "threads". I can't stand it! I have tried everything, checked all the settings, etc., These threading issues started after the last update, I believe. I want to see my messages as they come in, not "threaded". Suggestions? (version 38.6.0)
