since upgrading to ver 38.0.1, can't connect to the internet but IE can. I tried removing Firefox from the Windows Firewall approved app list and reinstalled it but that did not work. I tried adding a image to this page but for some reason it didn't accept it and just kept giving me the circle going round and round. Here is what the page gives when I try to connect to any website including Firefox.com

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.xfinity.com.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
