I start on "Add in manager page" and click "update now" and for every add on I am taken to page like this, https://blocklist.addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p156 without any links to get the updates. So how am I supposed to update my add-ons if there isn't a link to the update? Thanks, JF

Hi fishjo,

Apologies if I misunderstood where you start when you get redirected, but have you tried starting on this page?

Cheers, Michał

Yes as stated, when I go there it starts checking but the little spinning circle just keeps spinning. So I try the add on manager page and click on the "update now" links, and every one that needed updating took me to a blocked page message without any links to the updates. Very frustrating.... JF

The current versions of Adobe Reader 11.0.10 and 10.1.13 are at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows

I'm not sure what the latest version of the Adobe Reader for Windows XP is, but it is likely that the plugin check website and the blocklist doesn't take your Windows version into account. So you may have to bypass the blocklist measures to make it work for you in an acceptable way.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift (Mac Options) > key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
