I inquired directly to Kaspersky, who informed me "we aren't able to keep up with how fast Mozilla Firefox is developing" - or at least is was something very close to that "quote". So, I feel I should not stay with Kaspersky and don't know the best anti-virus provider for Mozilla. I've been using Chrome, but would rather stay with Moz., I like it much better. Thank, liz

I use Avira Personal Free - http://www.avira.com/en/avira-free-antivirus
Avira Free doesn't install any Firefox add-ons, which seems to be what some AV providers have trouble keeping up-to-date.

You have many choices in security software. Generally speaking, your security suite protects you from downloads regardless of whether it has any browser add-ons. That real-time protection is the core of the solution.

Opinions differ on the importance of the security vendors' browser add-ons. Which features of the Kaspersky add-ons do you find valuable that you want to retain or replace?

I appreciate all the replies I got! Especially that I'll be ok with Mozilla updates and keep Kaspersky - although I may switch to Avira. Thanks again! Liz434
