I have read these forums about text enhance but it doesnt help me. I have done the trial about disabling addons for firefox. Anyway I have determined that Shockwave flash 11.3 is the cause. I disable it but now I can watch flash videos online. I have uninstalled all Adobe products via add or remove programgs. I then goto the Adobe site to download flash and its there again. I get text enhance again. So now I disable it but I cant remove it from firefox addons at all? How can I clear this?

I have a mac and downloaded Bitdefender and it deleted 4 viruses. No more text enhance links. This was very frustrating as I did not see any add-ons or plugins such as CodecC or anything to disable.

You were lucky, bitdefender av app is not detecting nothing. The above links do nothing also. This is so annoying why cant no app detect this thing.

First, try to reset Firefox. Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings. This simple step will eliminate many Firefox problems with only one click.

A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this: Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs (including SP3), etc.

Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.

Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.

I used the "Reset" Firefox solution. Text Enhance and Search Enhance are finally GONE.
