How to make FF let me choose what pages I want to restore instead of opening them automatically?

I used to get the session restore page once my FF is restarted after crashing and I was able to choose if I want to start a new session or restore my previous one and also which pages I want to restore by checking their boxes, however, now all previous session pages are opened automatically without letting me specify which pages I need. How can I get back to the old session restore way and have this option. Thanks

If Firefox has crashed or is terminated from TaskManager, then the next time you open it, it would ask you if you want to restore your previous session or start a new one. You will also be able to select which pages you want to restore.

However, if Firefox has been closed gracefully (File > Exit menu or the Close button on top right), the next time it starts, Firefox will directly go ahead and restore all your pages from the previous session.

There are a number of options that govern this behavior. More information can be found here and here.

Thank you very much.

I typed "about:config" in the address bar, searched for "Browser.sessionstore.max resumed crashes" and changed its value to 0 (zero) instead of 1 (one). This made me able to get the session restore page at the first time FF is launched after crashing.
