408 Request Time-out errors

more options

During the past week I have been receiving 408 Request Time-out errors on a subscription website our organization uses. The vendor reports no changes to the site and no other customer complaints. All searches I've done point to my local browser or network setup, but I've cleared cache and cookies and it's not my network; I'm currently on vacation and getting the same errors 3000 miles from my home. It has worked fine for the past six months until last week.

I'll have to stop using Firefox if this continues. Please suggest some ideas why this suddenly started occurring and how I might fix it.

Any login site errors - users on here can't do much as they don't have access login to replicate the problem. You should contact their site for support on which browser to access their site.
