Finding Twitter Desktop version for Desktop computer

The last two days, when browsing Twitter on my desktop computer, it's automatically switched the format to the mobile version - which is harder to navigate - from the standard desktop version of Twitter. I can't figure out why it's doing this. It's doing this in Chrome, too. However, in Internet Explorer, it's properly rendering the desktop version of Twitter.

Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a way for Firefox to load the desktop version of Twitter as a default?

I will try this, but it seems that the add-on "Old Twitter Layout" also does the trick. Though, it says you might have to refresh a few times due to browser caching. I'll see which options works better.

Kind of amazing how much better the desktop view loads despite how much more simple the mobile version is.

See also this extension that spoofs the user agent to IE 11 similar to what I wrote above.

There seem to be quite a few extensions that claim to restore the previous Twitter layout, a few more:

^: Both those articles mention general.useragent.override.twitter.com and like I wrote above, it is no longer possible to override the user agent that way.

Sorry; I must have missed that (and I still don't see it), so I'm going to gracefully retreat from the thread and leave the OP in your capable hands.
