I have a problem in that suddenly my Mozilla Thunderbird email INBOX is completely empty - there are messages showing up in SENT and DELETED and TRASH but nothing in INBOX - they were there this morning and then suddenly disappeared Need to know how to get them back please - have tried several suggestions I found online but nothing is working

Chris, I have tried all the suggestions on the following link

which included 'repair folder' 'check settings'

I was unable to understand where the folders would be located

They are all visible and I can receive emails but they only stay on there for a short while & disappear - my settings seem to be correct as far as I can tell and I have used this program for several years without incident

You really need to give precise information. 'They are all visible' - what is visible? Messages? Folders?

Please post your Troubleshooting Information. At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help > Troubleshooting Information. Press the "Copy text to clipboard button" and paste the information into your reply.
