Hello Mozilla Team, I'm Deepesh, fan of mozilla since 2013. Specs: window 7 (32 Bit) I have recovery key with me for firefox desktop sync and it won't showing the option to put recovery key! I have updated the mozilla browser just minutes before, and now its the latest one. I too have account with firfox since 2013 but when I put my email in login screen of sync its showing "account doesn't exist". Please tell me how to recover my data. I have history, bookmarks and all data with this browser now. But if I create a new one will it remove the data in browser? Please fix this issue. Thank you Deepesh

The currently used Sync version uses the email address and a password to connect to a specific Firefox account. You no longer need to supply a Sync key as that key is derived from the password of the Firefox account and changing the Sync password will invalidate and remove all data stored on the Sync server.

Thank you cor-el for your help. If I sign up for a new account will it removes my cloud data that was in the Firefox servers?

I will try your instructions. And if stuck in somewhere will ask you for help.

Thank you again. :)

The old Sync servers that used the Sync Key / Recovery Key doesn't even exist any longer,

The latest version of Sync has a new group of servers, so you would be starting from scratch there.
