Trying to locate Profile Manager, found the article on it, but have no idea where to find the "switch" mentioned below:

Profile Manager is not displayed by default. Instead, you must start Thunderbird with a "switch" that makes the Profile Manager appear

Where is the switch?

Thanks Mike Starn

I suggest you use this add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/profileswitcher/?src=search

It places the appropriate menu items in Thunderbird so there is no need to mess on the command line. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/profileswitcher/?src=search

Install instructions for an add-on See http://xenos-email-notes.simplesite.com/416814616
