Yesterday, suddenly, my emails download, but only the header shows up. No message. I have both IMAP and POP coming in, both are doing the same thing. If I double-click on a message, a new window opens -- no message -- just a bit of the header. If I go to More, then classic view -- then I can see my message. But NOT if I set Classic View for the entire program. That freezes the program.

I can click all I want on different messages, but nothing happens to change the header from the first message I tried to view. I can delete messages, but not open them.

It also took forever to download an attachment to IMAP, but not to POP messages coming in.

Using Windows 7, this happened to the previous version and just upgraded to 38.0.01 to try to fix it. No luck.

Is it possible to go back to an older version of Thunderbird and have that work?

I have same problem. Matt's suggestion didn't work either.
