how do i restore deleted certificates. obviously ive tried a reinstall and a factory reset DO NOT REPLY WITH THAT
I (yes stupidly) deleted every certificate and license and every manual entry in the certificate tab in the security section, after that not even google is a trusted site and you in your infinite wisdom have decided to block all untrusted sites without the option to make them trusted as no page even loads, it just says blocked, no options no choices no image no nothing. Now i have reset defualts twice, it does nothing but delete my bookmarks and passwords and pretty much exactly the same thing as clear internet history and you guys are making it out to be the saviour of the world. second i have reinstalled it atleast 10 times and once again in your infinite wisdom you have left 90% of the program there even after i delete the folder and all which funilly enough doesnt have the deleted certs and doesnt reinstall them, because i was the one who deleted them you have kept it as a personal setting even after your supposed full reset and a clean install. how am i supposed to get this thing to reinstall fresh with out it still using whatever you have hidden, or if you dont want to do it that way give me a list of every cert and license that comes standard in an actual fresh install so i can copy and paste them there myself because nothing in your program has any way of fixing this and you save the fact that they are deleted in a fresh install. there must be a way to fix this ive been trying to find an answer and trying all your pointless suggestions but none even make sense let alone work and its made fox unusable, completely unusable like i said google doesnt even work and chrome is stupid and slow. and im going postal if one of you come back with factory reset, if its obvious and a 12 year old would know how to do it than dont give it as an answer your only wasting time

I have had a chat to a couple of people on the support team and we believe there is a solution that should help you.
- Go to about:support and click on the "Show Folder" button in Application Basics. This will open your profile in a Windows Explorer window.
- Close Firefox through File > Exit (you may need to press Alt first to display File).
- In the profile window, rename the file "cert8" file to "cert8old".
- Restart Firefox.
This should work, but if not please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

Just seen your question about Bookmarks. I recommend having a read of this article.
You can check the date and time and time zone in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.
You can't delete built-in root certificates permanently, you can only remove their trust bits. Intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored automatically show as "Software Security Device" on the Authorities tab. Those certificates can be removed, but Firefox will store them again if you visit a website that sends such an intermediate certificate.
Did you check the Technical details and the issuer of the certificate to see what is wrong?
You can rename the cert8.db file (cert8.db.old) and delete the cert_override.txt file in the Firefox profile folder to remove intermediate certificates and exceptions that Firefox has stored.
If that has helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed cert8.db.old file. Otherwise you can rename (or copy) the cert8.db.old file to cert8.db to restore the previously stored intermediate certificates. Firefox will automatically store intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send such a certificate.
If that didn't help then remove or rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) as well.
